Aurenvelle sells menswear and full-grain leather goods through aurenvelle.shop. This policy explains in plain English what personal information we collect when you use the site, why we need it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers aurenvelle.shop and any order you place with us.

The short version

We collect what we need to sell you something and get it to your door.
We never sell your personal information, and we never share it for anyone else’s marketing.
We never see or store your full card number — our payment processor handles it.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it, at any time.

Information we collect

Order information — your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, phone number, the items you order and the order value.
Account information — the email address and password you use to sign in, and your order history.
Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We receive a confirmation, a transaction reference and the last four digits of the card. We never receive or store your full card number.
Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, referring pages and how you move through the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Communications — messages you send to customer care, product reviews, and returns or repair requests.

How we use your information

To process, pack, ship and invoice your orders, and to handle returns and repairs.
To create and administer your account and send order and delivery updates.
To answer your questions and provide customer care.
To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the site secure.
To understand how the site is used so that we can improve it.
To send you news about products and collections, where you have opted in. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and opting out never affects your orders.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep your basket, session and checkout working, and analytics cookies to understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; strictly necessary cookies are required for checkout to work. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you across other websites.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the store work, and only as much as each one needs:

payment processors, to take payment and issue refunds;
carriers and fulfilment partners, to deliver your order;
email, hosting, analytics and fraud-prevention providers;
professional advisers, and authorities where we are legally required to disclose.

How long we keep information

Order and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires, generally seven years. Account information is kept until you close your account. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so that we do not contact you again. Returns and repair records are kept for two years so that we can honour our guarantee.

Where your information is held

We are based in the United States and our service providers may store data in other countries. Where we transfer personal information outside the country it was collected in, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Children

The store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.
